Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By engaging Petrobulk Global Trades Pvt. Ltd. ("Petrobulk") for freight, logistics or related services, or by using our website and portal, you ("Customer") agree to these Terms.

2. Services

Petrobulk arranges and/or performs domestic and international transportation (air, sea, road, rail, multimodal), warehousing, customs/EXIM and allied services, subject to the carrier's published terms and applicable law.

3. Quotations & bookings

Quotes are valid for the period stated and based on the information provided by the Customer. Final invoices may vary if the cargo, route or scope changes.

4. Customer obligations

  • Accurate description, weight, dimensions and value of cargo
  • Proper packaging and labelling
  • Required documentation for customs, regulated goods and hazardous materials
  • Timely payment per agreed credit terms

5. Prohibited cargo

We do not transport contraband, currency, precious metals/jewellery unless contracted, hazardous goods without prior arrangement, or any goods prohibited by Indian law or the carrier.

6. Liability

Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the lower of: (a) the applicable carrier's contractual limits (Carriage by Air Act, Multimodal Transportation of Goods Act, Bill of Lading conventions, etc.), or (b) ₹100 per kg of affected cargo, unless declared value insurance has been arranged. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

7. Insurance

Marine and inland transit insurance is recommended and can be arranged on request. Without declared value insurance, default limits apply.

8. Payment & GST

Invoices are payable per agreed terms. Late payments accrue interest at 18% p.a. or the maximum permitted by law. All taxes (GST, cess) are charged additionally.

9. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural events, strikes, civil unrest, regulatory action, pandemics, or carrier disruptions.

10. Confidentiality & data

Each party will protect the other's confidential information. Personal data is processed per our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at New Delhi will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any binding arbitration agreement.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
